Who we are

MBL Brands Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) is an Australian company. This policy covers mblbrands.com. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

What we collect

When you send a supplier enquiry, we collect your company name, your name, your email address, your country, the type of product you make, what you make, and, if you give them, your minimum order quantity and your company website. The form sends these to us as an email.

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message.

When you visit any page, the server that hosts the site records technical details that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We use them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, keep them only for a short time, and do not use them to identify you.

When analytics cookies are on, Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how you arrived and roughly where you are. See Cookies and analytics.

What we don’t collect

• We do not run advertising or social media tracking on this site, and we do not let Google use our analytics for advertising.
• We do not set cookies other than the Google Analytics cookies described below.
• We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which last up to two years and tell Google your visits come from the same browser. We do not use them to identify you.

• In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you accept them in the cookie banner. While they are off, Google Analytics still receives basic, cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed, which it cannot link to you or to your other visits.
• Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on unless you turn them off.

You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. Rejecting also deletes any Google Analytics cookies already set.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to decide whether your products suit one of our brands, and, if we work together, to manage samples, quotes and orders with you. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

• Vultr hosts this website on its servers.
• Cloudflare delivers the website and protects it from attacks.
• Google runs Google Analytics for us. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Our email provider delivers enquiry messages to our inbox and stores the messages we receive and send.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

These providers may process information in Australia, the United States or other countries. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard at least as high as this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep reasonable business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Send your request through our contact form and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit who can read enquiries and emails to the people who need to reply to them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
